Another surprise for our
participants. Some of the board members have hidden quality's and are quiet
good in taking pictures.
One of their pictures turned out to be ideal as a background for the Posse
Ride. You'll find this picture in Paris at the start and everywhere else
during the Posse Ride. This will be the official picture during the Posse
Ride enjoy.

When coming to the start of the Rally
in Paris
Please follow the arrows as shown
below to get to the Chateau in Paris. The route will be indicated from the
highway to the hotel.

Separate from all the events
the participants will attend they'll have a chance to visit the following
HD-Dealers : Antwerp - Strassbourg - Treviso - Genova and Barcelona.

As we already mentioned on our
forum two brave riders did the try-out of the entire Posse Ride in very bad
weather conditions and we are greatful to them for this achievement. This
way we have an idea of what to expect during the real thing.
They came back to us in one piece and that's a good thing. You can enjoy the
pictues thy brought back from their trip in april.
Just to assure you, we are confident that the weather will be a lot better
in july.

As you can see some pictures
have been added under the Reims Tab. Past weekend we pre-visited the hotel
in Reims and prepared the visit to the champagne cellar. Don't worry,
everything is as expected, nice hotel, good food and drinks and very
friendly people.
The champagne was very good too (lol).
To be sure the ride is also as expected we tried out the route and we can
only imagine how beautiful it will be in june when all the vineyards have
their full color .... BREATHTAKING. We did the ride in a pouring rain, but
even that cannot diminish the beauty of the landscape you will encounter.

Good news to all participants
to the EPR 2008. HOG Europe is offering us the rally package in Barcelona at
the 105th celebration.
A very nice present with a real value of 80 euro pp (HOG members price). So
a very BIG THANK YOU HOG Europe.
Posse Riders do not need to register for the Barcelona Harley Days.
The only fee they will have to pay is the parking if they go to the rally
site. Bikes can be left on the secured parking at the hotel.

Due to technical problems on
our server system it might be possible we missed some subscriptions. These
problems are solved but we would
like to ask people who registered in the period between february 12 and this
date to register again. If you
received a confirmation mail your subscription is valid.
The problem was brought to our attention by a Harley-rider from Slovakia and
we are deeply greatful to him for this.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Everywhere in Europe we use
the Euro for currency. However there is 1 country who is still using it's
own currency. Switzerland still has his own Swiss Frank. Since we go
to the Swiss HOG rally, it might be a good idea to have some Swiss money in
you pocket.

We would like to take the
opportunity to give you an update on the organisation of the Posse Ride.
We are proud to confirm that all hotels are booked and all routes are
defined.
We still have a few open spots for shared and double rooms, so there is
still the possibility to subscribe. Furthermore, there are a few people who
registered but haven't paid yet, and as of now their place can be taken by
new paying participants.
So our message to you is: "if you are still interested, don't hesitate! "
The Posse Team visited Chateau les Maffliers on Feb 9-10th, for a meeting
with the management to make a final agreement for the start of the Rally.
Apparently, the hotel managers ride a Harley as well, meaning they also
really look forward to this big event. We want to share with you that the
castle is located in an amazing natural area, making it the ideal spot to
start the Ride. A few extra details: the hotel has a Wellness area (for the
ladies?), a nice and "comfy" bar, a swimming pool and last but not least the
finest Burgundian dishes!
We volunteered to already taste all the available beers and wines for you ..
And we can say that, except for a certain Dutch beer that we won't specify
any further, they were much appreciated ! As you can see, our team has made
a lot of effort to ensure you a wonderful Ride!
To summarize: the start at the Chateau will represent a fantastic beginning
of the Posse Ride in a wonderful environment 20km from the center of Paris,
perfect to safely stable our iron horses and leave for the ride in groups.
The try-out of the first stage of the Posse Ride has already been done by
our road masters - you can read their story on this website (cfr Forum).
The second stage will be driven March 15-16th; the entire route will be
tested by 2 of our road masters April 8-14th, giving them the chance to make
minor changes to the road book if necessary.
Furthermore, all participating chapters received the road book and will try
out every stage as well. They will report to us potential difficulties to
give us the opportunity to determine the best route for you all .
We will add updates on the different stages on our website on a regular
basis, so we advise you to check regularly.

weekend we can give you a sneak preview of the splendid starting location in
Paris.

For your convenience we added a
brand new forum to the website. It is only available to participants of the
Posse Ride.
Here you can discuss with other participants from all over the world and
make appointments with each other.
You can acces it from the topbar of each page or by clicking on this link -

At your first visit you will have to register (again) to gain acces at the
board and to read and write messages.
After this registration you will receive an automated mail with a
confirmation of your chosen username and password.
Your application will then be verified by the webmaster. Maximum after 24h
you will receive a confirmation with your account activation. After that,
enjoy and have fun.
Remember this is for
POSSE RIDERS ONLY.

possible to register for the waiting list.
A total of 21 different nationalities have registred at this time.
- So far we have participants from all over
the world, get ready to meet people from, Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, England,
France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Peurto Rico,
Russia, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and
of course some participants from the U.S.A. And the list is growing every
day.
- We are proud to announce you that during the
Posse Ride we are invited at the
Swiss National HOG Rally in the beautifull
city of Brunnen at the Lake of Luzern.
Many surprises will be your part as well a great evening with hundreds of
Hog people coming from different countries.
- It is official, The Rally will start in the
casttle
Chateau de Maffliers, 18 kms of Paris.
The Chateau de Maffliers is a hotel surrounded by 35 ha of parks and
gardens, 18 km from Paris. Bright, welcoming rooms as well as 11 meeting
rooms for conferences and seminars for up to 100 people. Enjoy the Novotel
Cafe restaurant with terrace and an English style bar called Les Boiseries.
Surrounded by greenery, the hotel facilities are equally ideal for a
relaxing holiday. Private parking and heated indoor pool.
- We have planned to open the Rally on
Saturday june 28, 15h00 with the registration, welcome drink, rally
packages, briefings, Meet and Greet and

Please try to arrange your flights so you dont miss the start of the Posse
Ride.
